Have you decided to try SCPro? That’s great news! This SCPro Installation Guide will walk you through the process of installing it on your PC, step by step
Step 1: Download the Installer
Begin by visiting our product page at: SCPro Product Page.
On this page, you will find a button labeled “Download”. Click on it to download the SCPro installer package.
Step 2: Extract the Zip File
Once the download is complete, locate the zip file in your downloads folder and extract it. The extraction process will reveal the files necessary for the installation, including the ‘install.bat’ file.
Step 3: Run the Installation Script
Find the ‘install.bat’ file in the extracted folder. Right-click on it and choose ‘Run as administrator’. This will initiate the installation process. The script will handle multiple tasks, including installing VirtualBox, importing the .ova file from the zip, installing Zabbix, and placing a startup batch file in your Windows startup folder.
If Microsoft Defender activates click on “More Info” and then “Run Anyway”.
Step 4: Verify the Installation
To verify if the script has been executed successfully, search for the application “VirtualBox” using the search function in Windows. Open the application and you should see a virtual machine (VM) named ‘security-center-%date%’ running. This is your SCPro virtual machine.
Step 5: Load SCPro
Now that the virtual machine is up and running, you can load SCPro. Open your web browser and enter the following URL: ‘localhost:8093’.
Default Credentials ( please change the password after you logged in!)
username: admin
password: scpro123
Please note, it might take a few minutes for the VM and the Nginx server to load. Hence, there could be a slight delay before SCPro starts up.
